Oilseeds Cultivation

Growing oilseeds is one of the main activities of the company.

The use of modern cultivation technology allows to obtain high-quality product. Varieties are selected according to the climatic features of the growing area. Their distinguishing feature is the maximum level of yield, resistance to many diseases, and consistently high quality.

Red Scarlet (RS1) – Early table variety

Distinctive features:

Jacket: red
Heart: yellow
Potato tuber: medium large
Shallow depth of eyes formation
Good preservation capacity
Potato canker resistance
Grocery-ware tubers weight about 56-102 grams
Starch content: 10,1-15,6%  

Characteristics

Early variety. Ripening stage is 71-76 days from the planting day. Selection country: Holland. Oval tubers with smooth skin of reddish color.

The heart is yellow, does not change color to brown when cut. The variety is resistant to the long-term droughts, potato canker and nematodes. The variety is mildly resistant to potato blight.

Transportation is subject to prior agreements with the client.

Growing grain

Cultivation of grains is by no means unimportant for the Company and is considered one of the primary spheres of development. The entire space of lands occupied for the grains in 2015 was 2500 ha. 

Moskovskaya 39 Variety

Characteristics

Intermediate crop
Vegetation period: between 305 and 308 days
Resistance to the spring drought: good
Height: 91-100 cm.
Grain shape: prolonged
Crop yield: 35-60 metric centner per 1 ha
Protein content exceeds mid-values for 1,5-2,0%
Fibrin content exceeds mid-values for 6-8%.

Moskovskaya 39 was acknowledged as the best winder variety at Canada International Try-Out (1998-200 ), due the the increased production criteria and excellent baking values.

This variety is ideal for cultivation in the Central and the Central Black Earth Regions of the RF.

The variety is characterized by the high reproducibility of cultivation.

Parentage background

The variety was produced by mean of individual selection out of hybrids Obriy and Yantarnaya 50. Erythrospermum variety. Intermediate bush, hollow culm, medium thickness, the flag has some wax bloom. The spike is spindle-shaped of white color, medium density, the awns are straight – 6-7 m long. 

JAZZ KBC HYBRID

CHARACTERISTICS: 

Height of the plants — 102 cm.
Vegetation period — 99 days 
Fat content in a seed — 43-45% , yield of oil — 4,7-8,4 centners/ha 
Green leaves of medium length; medium and broad; number of seed lobes – small, medium, dentation: medium.

Hybrid – type 00, included into the State Register in the North-Western (2), the Central (3), and the West-Siberian (10) regions.

Recommended for cultivation in Leningrad region.

In full blossom the crop is medium or high; total length, including side branches: medium or long. The seedpod (excluding the beak) is short, the beak is short or medium; the floral stem is long.

Average yield in the second region: 15,8 centners/ha (+12.3% to the standard level)

in the 3-d region: 12.3  centners/ha (10,1% to the standard level), and in the 10-th region – 16,4 centners/ha (12,5% to the standard level) 

JEROME HYBRID

CHARACTERISTICS:

Height of the plants  108,0-117,8 cm, attachment height of the lower branch: 48,9-66,0 cm. 
Weight 1000 seeds 4,0 g. 
Fat content in a seed 47,3% 

Hybrid – type 00, seed lobes medium or long, broad ones. The leaf is green and long, of medium width; the leafstalk is long. Leaf dentation is low or medium; the leaf lobes number: medium number or many. Blooming period – medium. The petal is yellow of medium length or a long one; of medium width or a broad one. Pollen is produced. Total length, including side branches: medium or long; in fill blossom – long.  The seedpod (excluding the beak) is short, the beak is medium; the floral stem is of medium length. Tendency towards the flower head formation during the planting year (in case of late summer planting) – weak or medium.

Average yield in the second region: 18,9 centners/ha (+4.6 centners/ha to the standard level).

Vegetation period: 109 days.

Average yield in the forth region: 14.4 centners/ha (+3.5 centners/ha to the standard level)., the maximal yield – 40.0  centners/ha (Kirov region); Vegetation period: 101 days. Lodging resistance 4.8 points; Drop resistance – 4.2 points. The crop is recommended for seed plantation. 

SPRING BARLEY (NUR)

Ripening term – mid season (mid ripening)
The variety is a tillered plant.
It almost does not lodge.
The Nur variety is one of the best variety of spring barley in respect of potential crop yield.
Nur is highly adaptive to various cultivation conditions and possesses excellent seed quality, suitable for both: brewing and forage.
Nur is a nutans species. The variety is mid season with the vegetation period from 67 to 86 days.
The bush is intermediate with the medium height of the plants. Nur has a double-row spike with a glumiferous dolioform grain.
Certain variety test plot in the RF produced the maximal crop yield – over 10 tons per hectare.

Registered in the State Register in 2002. It is recommended for the following RF regions: the North, North-Western, Central, Volgo-Vyatskiy, and the Middle Volga.
